Dynamic or static QR: which to choose

Before generating a code, it helps to understand the difference. A static QR has its destination locked into the image forever. A dynamic QR stores the destination in Trazio, so it can be changed at any time.

  1. 1

When you create a code, you choose the type. A dynamic QR lets you change the destination without reprinting and records every scan with its analytics.

A static QR cannot be changed once printed and does not measure scans. It is useful only when the destination will never change and analytics are not needed.
